ROAD contractor RMS has warned drivers around Port Vila that roadworks will be taking place at USP Roundabout from 8am to 5pm tomorrow (Saturday) – weather permitting.
The works are a necessary step in preparing the sub-grade for asphalt.
RMS said Traffic control and partial road closures will be implemented to coordinate safe traffic flow through USP Roundabout.
“We encourage all motorists to proceed through the area with caution and observe direction from traffic controllers,” said a spokesman.
“There will be significant delays in the vicinity of the USP Roundabout. Please consider alternative routes if possible.”

- Works to commence at 8am Saturday morning at USP Roundabout
- Road users will be safely directed through or diverted around the work site by signage and traffic controllers
- Residents, business owners, customers and USP students will be granted access accordingly.
- Works to cease by 5pm Saturday
