Beach volleyball players back to training

VANUATU’S beach volleyball women and men players are back on their feet, as they step into the beach volleyball court at Stade area in Port Vila.

After the long Christmas and the New Year celebration of 2019, the players have already begun their training sessions. The women players kick started their trainings at 8am to 10am and the men’s players continue with their training from 10 am to 3pm.

As VVF approach this New Year there are a lot of competitions that awaits the beach volleyball players. With some tournament on the way the players have been busy training every week from Monday to Friday.

The players have gone through some strength and conditioning trainings with VVF’s Strength and Condition coach Charmaine Zinner.

The women players of Miller Pata and Sherysyn Toko after winning Tahiti in the National Beach Volleyball Championship, in winning the beach volleyball championship makes Vanuatu 4 times in a row champion in winning the beach volleyball championship.

Toko and Pata are pushing very hard in their training, preparing themselves for the FIVB 2 competition in Cambodia, from February 21 to 24.

VVF would like to let all the children participating in the After School Program funded by the Asco motors that, the training will resume on the second week of school in February 2019.
