AIR Vanuatu has suspended all flights to Pele airport on Tongoa island until further notice.
The airline says this is due to airport maintenance.
“The safety of our aircraft, crew and passengers is our priority and the suspensions of fights is beyond our control,” said a spokesman.
“Air Vanuatu regrets any inconvenience cause and we will resume flights once the airport meets the requirements for our services to recommence.”
Passengers with valied existing bookings for flight to Tongoa are asked to contact the Air Vanuatu Reservations team to reconfirm their flights or apply for a refund, by phoning 20200 or via email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
